NETGEAR Nighthawk 192.168.o.1.1 X6 AC3200 R8000 Tri-Band Wifi Router Review

Posted by rahul
NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 AC3200 R8000 uses ip 192.168.o.1.1 which the Tri-Band Wifi Router delivers a massive combined speed of upto 3.2 Gbps. It has six high performance wifi antennas,USB connections, and a dual core 1 gigahertz processor with three dedicated offload processors for each of the wifi radios, to give you maximum performance similar to Wi-Fi gigabite wired.
Netgear Nighthawk Modem Review

The X6 innovative Tri-Band Wi-Fi technology has the intelligence that it applies to each device that really changes the game for today’s home Wi-Fi networks. The X6 gives you more and faster wifi for the increasing number of devices in your home. It also has a technology called beamforming, meaning beams forming concentrates the wifi signal at the devices where it is detected, so the router knows where the device is in relation to itself and concentrates the signal in that area. NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 is an expensive unit. It does stream full HD to multiple devices. The router has USB 2.0 port, LED on/off, four gigabit ports, Ethernet port, USB 3.0 port, factory reset button and a power button. The router also has two large heat sinks that keeps it cool. Nighthawk X6 delivers very high throughput. For e.g., with the router in the hallway and the tablet in the living room, transfer rates of 702 Mbps can be achieved and multiple devices work flawlessly despite the walls.

Nighthawak Uses 192.168.o.1.1 for Settings

A standard AC 1750 dual band router and the Nighthawk X6 delivers similar combined wifi speeds when only two devices are connected to the network. Once more devices are connected the combined wifi speed of the AC 1750 dual band router is reduced dramatically while the Nighthawn X6 continues to perform at a faster speed. The addition of slower mobile devices reduces the overall performance on the AC 1750 wifi router while the Nighthawk X6 separates this devices into separate wifi bands delivering four times the performance of AC 1750. In order to open 192.168.o.1.1 Admin panel The X6 is ideal for today’s connected homes with an increasing number of wifi devices simultaneously streaming videos and online gaming giving you the best wifi performance.

X6 gives this four times better performance by using the smart connect technology. The smart connect has the intelligence to connect each device to the wifi band where it can connect at its maximum possible speed. Using smart connect the X6 automatically separates slower and faster devices. 192.168.o.1.1 login For e.g., 802.11 ac capable laptops would connect to one 5 g band while dual-band tablets and smartphones run on the other 5g band. The result of this smart optimization is that the faster devices can connect and perform unhindered by slower devices. With Nighthawk X6 all your devices will load, stream and game at their maximum speed.

To improve performance even further the Nighthawk X6 also provides load balancing across the two 5 GHz bands, for e.g., you may have three tablets connected to your wifi network, when a fourth device a smartphone logs on the X6 will automatically connect it with a second 5 gigahertz band, to ensure utilization of both the 5 gigahertz bands. This gives you the best wifi performance.
The Router is available in many new models also, all have different features. But the same thing about all the Netgear Nighthawk Series is that each uses ip 192.168.o.1.1 which helps to setup the router and modem.

In this post, we will be differentiating between 192.168 o 1 and 192.168 0.1.

Uses of 192.168 o 1 Router Settings

192.168 o 1 Handicapping SSID shows is known not various issues with an assortment of remote cards. The remote card should effectively interface with the SSID to see whether it is there or not. On Windows XP with a more extended rundown of favored systems this can be power and tedious assignment. On Vista you need to recollect to arrange the system accurately. Some cards experience difficulty associating by any means, loosing the association now and again, now and then changing associations when another show SSID in the rundown of favored systems comes up.

On the off chance that you have two or more remote access focuses/switches with which you could assembled a wandering remote system that won't work with SSID telecast incapacitated in light of the fact that remote customers are not ready to latently identify a more grounded sign of the second get to point. 192.168.l.l present association must get disengaged before the customer can check for the nearness of the other AP.

192.168 0.1 Then again, with empowered SSID telecasts anybody in your closeness can rapidly filter the earth for different remote systems which can give you a thought the amount of obstruction you need to expect when you set up another entrance point. I think numerous devices for remote additionally demonstrate the channel number of those remote systems (Windows tragically does not do as such) Ip ( 192.168.l.l ) which will help you to pick a channel not all that swarmed even with a straightforward detached output.

I think for debilitating SSID telecast and the remote MAC address channel list the hindrances by a wide margin exceed the points of interest. Specifically the debilitated SSID telecast can bring about a wide range of issues regardless of the possibility that it might function admirably for some setups.

IP 192.168 o 1 and 192.168 0.1 Difference

Both the ip addresses are related to the Router's and Modem's but the first ip is used to fix the different issues with the remote card which is present in the devices.
The second ip is used to use to remote systems in the Admin Panel which is opened by logging into the router admin page.

It is also important to note that only one network device on a network can have any one IP address, so if there are multiple devices using 192.168.1.254, all but one of them should be changed to a different setting.

Posted by rahul
The ASUS RT-AC68U Dual Band AC1900 router supports 192.168 0.1 and 2.4GHz and 5GHz signal, support of 802 11ab/g/n and AC signal
It also supports a dual core processor and has 128 megabyte of internal storage of DDR3 RAM. The dual 2 core processor is meant for better responsiveness and better file management through the USB ports A very large router but the performance is absolutely amazing, in terms of general appearance it is a very attractive looking device. In term of theoretical speed on the 2.4 GHz signal, you could reach theoretical speeds of 600 megabits per second, and in the 5 gigahertz signal you could theoretically reach speeds of 1300 megabits per second. Of course theoretically speeds are not achievable. The price tag is worth it because it is future proofing the home network.

How to Access 192.168 0.1 in Asus ?

On the front of the router there are some LED indicator lights, the first four on the left indicate how many devices are physically connected through a gigabit port at the back, then there is the USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, for file management, power LED, the 2.4 and 5 GHz signal to know that they are active and working. Over on the right side there are two buttons, one is a WPS button and the other is the button that turns the Wi-Fi on and off. On the back there a lot of ports that correspond to four gigabit ports that connect your computer and laptop and other devices. Wider back allows a lot ventilation at the back, helping the router to stay relatively cool.

The software is one of the fundamental things about the router, the amount of customization available is unbelievable. When you login to the router settings you will see the primary page, you can see how many devices are connected. System status has two options- quick status and the ability to change the wireless password. Guest network allows you to enable a guest account. In case you have someone coming over for one evening and you want them to have access to the internet but you do not want them to have access to your intranet so your network files perhaps which might have some sensitive information you do not want to share, simply enable an account and give them a password.

Traffic monitor basically allows you to monitor the status of how much data is being used, and what type of connection you are on. Parental control is quite a cool thing for parents . Most of the options in the interface has large descriptions of what you can do and how to use them.

USB application is what ASUS RT-AC68U Dual Band AC1900 router highly emphasizes, so you have a lot of software dedicated to that. A idisk allows you to share files through your USB stick, gives you a temporary IP address which you can use to access that information. There is also the media server which you can set “ on”, and anything you have in the USB stick you access that on the TV. Then you have the network printer, which allows the printer to be connected to one of the USB ports.

Next in Download master, click on add and you can browse for torrent files or if have HTTP or FTP site that you want to connect to instead, you can just type in the URL for it, and you will see a list of all the downloads and uploads that are happening. IP version 6 is also available. There is VPN options which you can setup. There are a tonne of router firewall

The router has a built in firewall, it has got a NAT and SPI firewall, DMZ for secure gaming, and faster speed for sharing files and folders on a home network or internet browsing.

Netgear N300 Wireless Router uses ip address 192.168.1.1 and has a great user interface which allows for parenting control and bandwidth metering. It is ivp6 complaint. It has a “basic” and “wireless” settings that allows you to choose a channel, or set to auto. Setting it to auto will cause the signal to jump between channels and you will have a drop in connectivity. The “Mode” options states the speed that you can go upto say 300Mbps. There are many “security” options such as WEP, WPA-PSK [TKIP], WPA2-PSK [AES], and WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]. For the security options choose a password. There is also a separate network for a guest and separate guest network password which can allow the guest network to access your local area network.

Ivp6 option shows you traffic metering which tells you how bandwidth you are utilizing. Your ISP has a limitation on the amount of bandwidth you are allowed to use so that is a very good option. Data is tracked in meagbytes, and the GUI will display the mega byte of download and upload. It gives you the daily, weekly and monthly usage. Additionally, you can choose your bandwidth cap. Netgear N300 Wireless Router has a option to disconnect your ability to access the internet once you reach your cap, ISPs charge exorbitant amount if you go over your allotted gigabytes for the month.

Using the Netgear N300 Wireless Router a download speed of 19.48 Mbps can be achieved. Depending on the number of people in your cable connection the speeds can vary, the upload speed is 2.10 Mbps. Netgear N300 Wireless Router is not meant for really large houses, furthest point would be three walls and you would still get a signal. Performance wise Netgear N300 Wireless is a great Router.

TP-Link Archer C3200 AC3200 Using 192.168.l.l Review

Posted by rahul
We will start the review of TP-Link Archer C3200 AC3200 by doing a physical overview, setup, specifications and the GUI, look at some numbers and make our conclusions. 3200 is the sum total of all the bandwidth, usual 600 megabits per second for the 2.4GHzband and dual 1300 meagbits per second for 5 GHz bands, this makes the router perfect for using many devices at once, but in theory it should not make it any faster than an average AC 1900 router. It uses 192.168.l.l also. The styling is of the top-of-the-line Archer. The top and bottom are covered in a matt black triangular mesh with six antennas which you sadly cannot replace. When the router stands on all six antennas it looks stunning. There is dual core 1GHz CPU inside with three coprocessors, one for each band width. The router lacks multi user MIMO support it does feature smart connect, a technology which automatically assigns the correct bands and channel to a client device for optimal performance with all connected devices.

On the front are LEDs for power, each band of WAN, LAN, WPS and both USB ports, a light for each port is unavailable. There are also buttons that turn Wi-Fi WPS and LEDs on or off. On the rear is a reset button, gigabit WAN and four gigabit LAN ports, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 ports and a power button to power it up or down which is next to the power jack. On the bottom are four rubber feet and two hooks for ceiling or wall mounting. Quite surprisingly the size of it is only 20 cm x 20cm, a lot smaller than expected.

The user experience and the GUI on this device is a little disappointing. While Netgear , ASUS and Synoilogy have enormous feature sets and settings menus to get lost in for days. TP-Link seems to go for a very simple approach and sadly it is overly simplied to a point where it somewhat limits what the user can do despite the hardware being more than capable. However, this device is more than configurable enough for most users. Wifi testing in AP mode is not available, no bridge mode, no repeater mode. There is lack of firmware updates on the device itself. You still have to download them on a USB drive like. The layout is nice and easy to navigate. But in terms of software Asus and Synology are way ahead.

The router shines when it comes to performance. At one meter range the performance are comparable to a wired gigabit connection and performs better than Xiaomi Mi WiFi Mini Youth Router, Synology rt1900 AC Router, Netgear Nighthawk R700 router, Asus R7-AC870 Router and TP-Link Ac 2600 router. Performance in the living room, bedroom is exceptional when it comes to download and upload speeds for large and small files. The transfer speed is high and high consistency with perfectly repeatable results each time. Moving outdoors now 15 meters away from the router with multiple walls in between and the performance is still good. TP-Link Archer C3200 AC320A router is definitely to consider, because it looks good and performs even better in and around the house.

Xiaomi Mi WiFi Mini Router Youth Edition Review

Posted by rahul
Xiaomi Mi WiFi Mini Router Youth Edition is the smallest router ever seen. If you are looking for a high end expensive giant router you may want to look elsewhere. Including shipping it is the cheapest router that you can buy, it does not have multi user MIMO capability, it does not even have a AC wifi. So why should you buy one.

Xiaomi-Mi-Wifi-Mini-Router-Review

The Xiaomi Mi WiFi Mini Router is pocketable, only weighs 250 grams and you can get it in six different colours. The entire device is made from plastic except the metal hinges that hold two tiny antennas. It uses the IP Address 192.168.l.254 The antennas are PCB and not metal ones, and there is an ambiguity if the material of construction really affects the performance of this router. The i/o is very limited giving you only one WAN port, and two LAN ports all of which are 100 megabits per second. For power there is a micro USB port, which allows easy powering by your smart phone charger, and one of them is actually included in the box. You will get about 300 hours of usage from 8000 mA unit which is great for example if you want to set it up as a repeater for your mobile phone hotspot or you need a temporary internet in the garden when the guests are over. There is no way to wall mount the router and there are many small holes in the bottom to help with the cooling.

Installation of the router is very simple, and the fun bit is the UI which is only available in Chinese. Now Google chrome can translate webpage but only when it has internet access so you will need a second device with internet access to do all the configurations on this router. You can manage to set it up in Chinese because everything is where it is supposed to be with a router, like an other router user interface. You can set this router as a repeater as there is no easy Access point mode and you can also do the old disable DHCP trick and run it as an Access point.

Now the most important bit is the performance of the router as it has 100 megabit per second LAN ports and 2.4 GHz wifi. Transfer speeds average around 10 megabytes per second at very close range and it only starts really dropping once it it taken 15 meters away with walls in between, and even at 40 meters away there is enough bandwidth to stream a 720p video, which is incredibly impressive for something this size.

For conclusion, Xiaomi Mi WiFi Mini Router is tiny, its cheap, and performs well enough for most knowledge users. It’s size makes it great to go on travel or if need portable repeater for the garden parties. It certainly outperforms the devices that ISPs make you buy and it has pretty incredible range and the downside keeping the pricing in mind is that the initial setup is in Chinese.
